Matt and Juanita

As wedding photographers you see a lot of couples and we thought that this could not have been more perfect for each other. Juanita and Matt made the majority of their decorations for the wedding together. They are both artists and art lovers. Shooting their wedding was a field day for Erin and I to push our creativity to match theirs.

Juanita was without a doubt a drop dead gorgeous bride. Not only on the outside but on the inside as well. She was so incredibly warm and inviting that we felt like old friends shooting her wedding. The first thing she said to Erin upon seeing was "you look so cute!" it showed her  selflessness  and kindness  of to think of us when it was her wedding day. Her love for Matt was so apparent.

when doing their portraits alone she couldn't stop giggling at him and at one point said "Husband, I can call you husband now!" it melted our hearts to see how much they love each other.

 

Matt's moms face is so excited. we love it.

Matt is showing her his ring and we thought it was funny because it seems like he is saying "look, you got me"

1) Do you retouch?

We do offer retouching or "air brushing" any magazine you see there is some retouching and airbrushing, our goal isn't to make you look completely plastic or not yourself but to enhance your natural features and to allow you to have access to the same retouching techniques as magazine models. we also take airbrushing request if you say "I hate this mole on my back" you will not see it in your photos. Once again we don't want you to look fake, we just want to allow you the same opportunities as Beyonce and demi moore.

2) Do I have to get naked?

HOW MUCH OR LITTLE YOU WEAR IS UP TO YOU. we have shot plenty of boudoir with a variety of different comfort levels so we leave the choice up to you. we will not force you to do something you are uncomfortable with.

3) but i DONT KNOW WHAT TO WEAR?!

we FEEL THE HEART OF THESE PHOTOS ARE YOU, AND YOU SHOULD WEAR WHAT you FEEL SEXY IN. WEATHER THAT BE A SWEATER AND UNDIES OR YOUR HUSBANDS dress SHIRT AND TIE. the PHOTOS ARENT SO MUCH ABOUT WHAT YOU WEAR, BUT HOW YOU WEAR IT, confidence IS THE SEXIEST THING ABOUT A WOMAN. iF YOU ARE UNSURE ABOUT SOMETHING OR WANT SOME IDEAS FEEL FREE TO SEND US A MESSAGE AND WE CAN COME UP WITH SOME IDEAS YOU AND YOUR PARTNER ARE SURE TO LOVE.

4) are THESE PHOTOS GOING TO BE ALL OVER FACEBOOK OR THE BLOG?

nO! THESE PHOTOS WILL BE PUT IN A PASSWORD PROTECTED album that only you have the password too. The only way they will be posted anywhere is if we have your permission. All of our Boudoir photos you see have been posted because we had permission. We understand you may not want everyone to see your photos and respect your privacy.

5) I am kind of nervous about this can I bring a friend?

you are more than welcome to bring a friend to the shoot, as girls we understand that sometimes you need someone there to tell you, "you are awesome". We are more than happy to have your friends sit in for moral support or nip slip duty.

6) Does the calendar include more than one pose?

yes! THE CALANDER WILL INCLUDE 12 DIFFERENT POSES OF THE PHOTOS WE THINK ARE YOUR BEST PHOTOS. if YOU WOULD LIKE A REVISION OF THE PHOTOS IN YOUR CALANDER THAT IS AN OPTION FOR A EDITING FEE.

Christina & Jason

It is a photographers dream to be able to photograph people who are unique and beautiful, we all try to make everyone look and feel unique and beautiful but when you meet someone who is just so different but so good and comfortable at being them, your heart sings a little because you know you are going to get to be apart of something rare.

This is how I felt when Christina asked me to photographer their wedding.  

Christina and Jason met while serving in the Navy and her fearlessness and strength has always been something that I not only noticed right off the bat, but admired.  And when I got to meet Jason I felt like the two of them made so much sense. They support each other and encourage each other, I have heard Christina call Jason her best friend, and it could not have seemed more true when watching them together.  Jason even let her drive the golf cart :-) .

Their wedding was so beautiful and fun and their love was evident when photographing them. I only had to tell them where to stand and their playfulness and cuteness was all them. It was a breeze for me to photograph them.

I wish them much happiness in the future and hope that they continue to shine brightly where ever they go.
